Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours’ newest ship, Scenic Eclipse II, has left the 3. Maj Shipyard in Rijeka, Croatia, for the first time, with Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic watching on.
The Prime Minister joined Sasa Cokljat, managing director of MKM Yachts, and Glen Moroney, chairman and founder of Scenic Group, for the ship’s departure. The ship is now making a journey of 2,163 nautical miles around the Italian coast, across the Mediterranean Sea and through the Strait of Gibraltar before arriving in Lisbon, Portugal.
Scenic Eclipse II will then embark on her maiden voyage, an 11-day ‘Iberian Discovery’ sailing from Lisbon to Barcelona, Spain, on 13 April.
