The new Mitsui Ocean Cruises ship will sail to Tokyo before spending its first month in service visiting numerous destinations in Japan, including Nagoya, Kobe and Beppu

Japanese cruise brand Mitsui Ocean Cruises has unveiled the first month of cruise itineraries for its new ship, Mitsui Ocean Fuji.  

The 32,000gt ship will make its debut on 1 December 2024 when it sails from Yokohama to Tokyo in Japan on a seven-night voyage. The ship will call at Beppu and Shimonoseki in Japan, and Busan in South Korea along the route. From 8 December, the ship will sail three roundtrip itineraries, the first of which is from Yokohama and will call at Shingu and Kochi in Japan and Busan. This will be followed by a five-night trip from Nagoya in Japan, calling at Busan and Takamatsu in Japan, and a five-night voyage from Kobe, calling at Busan and Matsuyama, Japan.  

Mitsui Ocean Fuji will sail from Kobe to Yokohama from 23-29 December, before embarking on an 11-night New Year’s roundtrip cruise from Yokohama, calling at Jeju, South Korea, and Busan, and Nagasaki, Beppu and Hiroshima in Japan. This cruise will include a new year’s party, entertainment and celebrations.

The six inaugural cruises will visit Beppu, Shingu, Kochi, Takamatsu, Kagoshima, and Jeju and Busan in South Korea
