Marella Cruises has created a new menu of 150 dishes to serve onboard its newest ship Marella Voyager, which will launch on 3 June 2023.

The menus were developed over 250 hours by a team of seven chefs.

“We’re bringing a twist to classic British food that we all know and love, while enticing passengers to branch out and sample something new,” said Chris Hackney, managing director of cruise for TUI UK & Ireland.

The British dishes will be elevated or de-constructed to create a playful dining experience in the new Silver Fork restaurant that will offer 25 ‘British’ dishes.

The cruise line will also provide 37 new vegetarian and vegan dishes to cater to a variety of guests.

“We understand what guests want from their cruise and what they love about our existing ships, so by ensuring we keep some Marella Cruises favourites as well as adding a different flavour to Marella Voyager, we will be providing more choice for our loyal customers and providing an exciting introduction to the brand for new customers,” said Hackney.

Another new dining venue onboard Marella Voyage will be The Kitchens, which will include eight different eateries offering a variety of cuisines such as English, Indian, South Asian, Greek and Arabic food, as well as a dessert station.

Other restaurants will include Abuela’s, which will serve Mexican lunch and dinner; buffet-style Nonna’s that will serve made-to-order pizza and pasta dishes; Italian restaurant Vista; Latitude 53, which will be the ship’s main restaurant and spread across two storeys; Surf & Turf, which will serve steak, seafood, chicken and lamb dishes; and Kora La that will offer a selection of pan-Asian dishes.

“We are so excited to present our wide range of new menus onboard Marella Voyager, which is the next exciting evolution in our fleet,” added Hackney. “With more than 150 bespoke dishes on offer, these newly developed menus feature concepts that will resonate with all.”
