Zadar Port Authority has opened a tender process to find a company to manage, operate and maintain a new passenger terminal at Port Gaženica in Croatia.

Under construction since September 2016, the port’s new terminal will be able to handle both local and international ferry traffic, as well as homeporting, day call and turnaround operations from cruise ships. The terminal is expected to be complete in March 2018.

The fixed-term concession contract will require the successful company to provide passenger services and also operate and maintain the port and terminal infrastructure for 20 years. Applicants can find the all tender-related information here. Tenders must be submitted by 12pm local time on 15 January 2018.

Zadar welcomed more than two million cruise and ferry passengers and vehicles in 2017. It expects a 20% rise in cruise ships and an increase in general passenger traffic in 2018.
