The MSC Group’s cruise division is introducing a new luxury private island retreat, Sandy Cay, to The Bahamas for MSC Cruises and Explora Journey guests. The island is expected to open in 2028.

Sandy Cay is the latest addition to MSC Cruises and Explora Journey’s joint commitment to elevating their private destination offering.

The island will complement the company’s existing private island destination, Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, which will offer visitors an array of new facilities from 2027, providing guests a more intimate experience, rooted in respect for the local environment and ecosystems.
