Rescompany’s cruisePAL suite provides an all-in-one solution for cruise operators

By Laura Hyde |

Rescompany, together with its partner companies MariApps and OnboarD, has launched cruisePAL, a suite of web-based, cloud-ready solutions offering the cruise industry modern functionalities for better operational efficiency and enhanced customer service.

The cruisePAL Reservation System (CRS) covers all aspects of operations, from bookings to reservation modifications, payments, the generation of sales invoices and commissions, and the reconciliation of agency accounts. Its web-based architecture enables agents to work from anywhere and its user-friendly interface makes it simple to train new users. Numerous cruisePAL CRS customers have successfully switched to the new system.

Meanwhile, the cruisePAL Ship Management System (SMS) boasts a completely overhauled intuitive interface, featuring more informative and customisable dashboards than its predecessor. Modules help cruise brands to manage key ship operations, including pre-boarding processes, reservation management, guest card pre-encoding, the day-to-day operations for all hotel departments, and cruise closedown.

Rescompany used customer feedback to make improvements to the system’s functionalities to ensure it meets the needs of cruise operators. The cruisePAL SMS solution seamlessly integrates with modules offered by Rescompany partner companies, MariApps and OnboarD Software, enhancing overall interoperability.

To ensure it is more efficient for crew members, Rescompany’s cruisePAL Point of Sale (POS) has been redesigned. The new POS system offers real-time stock control with low availability alerts to ensure popular items are never out of stock; the ability to track the sustainability of ingredients, allergens and nutritional values; unlimited price lists with automated activation, which ensures smooth transitions for special pricing including happy hour and other promotions; and support for multi-language recipe names.

The solution also includes Central Fleet Management functionality that allows complete management of POS, promotions, specials, spa packages as well as all inventory and food order aspects from ship or shore.

“These innovations not only showcase our collective commitment in developing new technology but also demonstrate a keen understanding of the diverse needs of cruise operations, passengers, and crew members,” says Sonja Merckel, senior sales and account manager at Rescompany. “The cruisePAL suite proves to be a comprehensive and user-focused solution set to elevate the cruise industry’s operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.”
