Since the acquisition of Rescompany by the Schulte Group in January 2021, there have been a lot of exciting developments between Rescompany (Resco), MariApps and BSM Cruise, and many more offerings to look forward to for ship operators.  

Together, MariApps and Resco provide a one-stop-shop for shipowners, catering to all of their system requirements by providing integrated ship-to-shore solutions and advanced hospitality software. Enhanced by MariApps’ leading maritime digital software and collaboration with BSM Cruise Services, Resco’s mission is to cement its unique position with passenger software solutions for shore and ship operations jointly, targeting the wider industry.    

MariApps and Resco have a combined team of over 600 highly skilled and experienced professionals who are working together towards developing and delivering digital solutions that will improve ships operational efficiencies, visible performance, monitoring capabilities and more. We are continually developing and enhancing the cloud solution to more closely integrate ship and shore systems.   

One of the major upcoming developments is the Port and Itinerary Management & Tour Planning web-based portal, which can be accessed by cruise lines and external contractors to manage itineraries and tours. Suppliers and tour operators can offer their products and pricing to start the procurement process. For example, if they have four ships at the same port, the supplier or the tour operator can share the available capacities more efficiently. Also included is ship operational efficiency features for detailed itinerary and fuel management planning, there is currently nothing like this on the market today and is a highly sought-after solution for several of our clients. Resco is currently on track to start offering these services during 2022. Resco NG, the web and cloud-based system, is well underway, with new modules launched already using the very latest technology.
