Posidonia 2024: bringing together the Greek shipping community

Posidonia

Posidonia 2024 is hoping to attract more attendees than the 2022 event, which welcomed over 28,000 visitors

Posidonia 2024, organised by the Union of Greek Shipowners, will take place from 3 to 7 June in Athens, Greece.

The theme for the 2024 biennial event is ‘powering ahead’, chosen to illustrate the growth of Posidonia, which welcomed over 28,000 visitors from 103 countries in 2022, as well as the rise in Greek-owned ships, which has increased by 45 per cent since 2014.

To be chaired by industry leaders and reported worldwide, Posidonia 2024’s conference sessions, seminars, workshops and media roundtables will offer delegates an insight into industry issues. The five-day event will offer an array of face-to-face discussions, a platform for attendees to exchange ideas and evaluate industry developments, and numerous networking opportunities with representatives from within the Greek shipping community. Posidonia 2024 will again host the Tradewinds Shipowners Forum.
