Silversea Cruises’ newest flagship, Silver Muse, has successfully completed her sea trials in Genoa, Italy ahead of her April 2017 debut.

Built at Fincantieri’s Genoa yard, the luxury all-suite cruise vessel completed extensive speed, vibration, noise, endurance and propulsion tests, passing all assessments in accordance with international rules and regulations.

“The successful completion of sea trials marks yet another significant milestone in Silver Muse’s development,” said Roberto Martinoli, CEO at Silversea Cruises. “In just a matter of weeks we will be welcoming guests from around the world onboard the newest member of the Silversea family, with our new flagship set to offer the highest expression of excellence in elegance and comfort at sea.”

Following her 19 April christening in Monaco, Silver Muse will begin her inaugural cruise season and sail to 130 ports in 34 countries in 2017 alone.
