Nordic ferry operator Scandlines has partnered with international coffee brand Starbucks to offer its products onboard Deutschland and Schleswig-Holstein from 21 April.

To be available in the GoodtoGo outlet, the products will include Starbuck’s standard teas and coffees, as well as its seasonal products throughout the year. GoodtoGo is currently being renovated to accommodate the new coffee machines, while staff are undergoing extensive product training from a Starbucks representative.

“We are very proud that with this initiative we take yet another step towards giving our customers a good experience onboard,” said Kerim Aydin, senior vice president of retail and catering at Scandlines. “Starbucks is currently positioned in all international cities and airports. We find it only natural that our customers have the opportunity to enjoy a cup of Starbucks midway between the big cities of Copenhagen and Hamburg.”

Deutschland and Schleswig-Holstein both operate on the Puttgarden-Rødby route in Germany.
