Silversea Cruises newbuild will receive the water purification technology in 2019

Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri has awarded water purification firm Scanship a clean ship contract for Silversea Cruises' newbuild Silver Moon.
This contract follows a similar agreement for Norwegian Cruise Line newbuilds.
Scanship will deliver the equipment in 2019, and Silver Moon will enter service in 2020.
“This will be the third newbuild with Scanship total clean ship system built by Fincantieri for Silversea Cruises,” said Henrik Badin, Scanship CEO. “We are very pleased to work with Fincantieri and Silversea on this high-end luxury class of ship to ensure environmental sustainability at sea.”
