Eniram has developed a new training portfolio to help ship officers and onshore staff understand the Eniram platform and products.

The new training portfolio offers a graduated learning system covering general nautical operations, advanced onboard troubleshooting, and various Eniram product operations including trim and speed optimisation, engine use, and analysing and tracking energy management.

“By developing this comprehensive training offering, we will be able to provide our customers with the opportunity to go deeper in understanding and interpreting how Eniram gathers, monitors and tracks fuel-saving data, and to gain improved data transparency across their fleet and in their organisation as a result,” said Tomi Urho, director of Eniram Academy. “At the same time, the training portfolio supports officers onboard to gain the knowledge and skills to efficiently optimise the fuel consumption. The training portfolio will also be further expanded with Eniram certification programmes later this year.”

Eniram’s training portfolio combines live and web-based conferences with self-study components to allow crew to study while onboard the ship. Crew will be offered a tablet while onboard the ship and can also access an online computer-based training library with presentations, how-to videos, manuals and other materials. Onshore participants have 24-hour access to online materials.
