Chelsom created decorative lighting fixtures for Crystal Cruises’ first super yacht, Crystal Esprit, which launched in December.

Highlights of the work include a ceiling fixture in Cove Lounge, which comprises multiple rows of triedri crystal drops suspended from an antique brass rectangular frame and illuminated by LED retrofit lamps. A similar fixture, consisting of nine various-sized rings of crystals, lights up the Patio Café.

Meanwhile, the Yacht Club features a centrepiece of antique brass rods fitted to an antique brass frame, which is interspersed with crystal rods of varying heights to create a waterfall effect. The main lighting feature in the reception area comprises antique brass rods and suspended teardrop lights to emulate water.

Chelsom worked in close collaboration with the design team at AD Associates during the project.
