The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection has appointed UK-based design agency AD Associates as interior designer for its two newly announced luxury superyachts, which will be delivered in 2024 and 2025.

To be named Ilma and Luminara, the vessels will feature exteriors designed by Finland-based yacht stylist Aivan and will be built by French shipyard Chantiers de l'Atlantique. They will join the brand’s first superyacht, Evrima, which is expected to debut in summer 2022.

Each vessel will offer five restaurants, six bars, a wine vault and 228 suites, all with their own private terraces. There will also be two new categories of suites measuring up to 100 square metres, as well as signature spaces found on Evrima, including an expanded marina with a mezzanine, a Ritz-Carlton Spa, and a dedicated space for hosting Ritz Kids activities.

AD Associates has collaborated with award-winning designer D.P.A. to develop the onboard lighting solutions.

“It's both an honour and a privilege to design the interiors for The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection’s newbuild superyachts,” said Chris Finch, founder and CEO of AD Associates. “Immersing ourselves and working alongside the brand, we are taking great care to learn more about the iconic touchpoints that The Ritz-Carlton is famous for, and ensure a successful transition onto the superyachts.”

Once in service, IIma and Luminara will sail all-inclusive itineraries ranging from seven to 10 nights in the Caribbean and Mediterranean, and will also be available for private charter.
