The Zero Emissions Cruising Conference will take place at Thon Hotel Bergen Airport in Bergen, Norway, from 17-18 November 2025.  

The two-day event, which is dedicated to discussing the future of sustainable cruising, will bring together key stakeholders from the cruise industry, including operators, shipbuilders, technology providers, fuel suppliers, regulatory bodies, financial institutions, port authorities and sustainability experts.  

The conference programme includes an array of individual sessions and panel discussions exploring the challenges associated with maritime decarbonisation. Key topics covered will include sustainable propulsion technology, fuel options, regional regulatory frameworks and policies, repair and recycling solutions, energy efficiency and more. 

Speakers at the event will include Lasse A. Vangstein, chief communications and sustainability officer at Havila Voyages; Tanja Alina Berg, segment sales manager (hybrid modernisation) at ABB; Gerry Larsson-Fedde, chief operating officer at Hurtigruten; and Kristian Liknes, sales manager at Wärtsilä.
