Welbilt Marine has launched GalleyCare, a catering equipment maintenance plan which is intended to reduce downtime and extend equipment lifespan.

The package will include remote support worldwide through telephone or email and assessment and monitoring of fleet equipment throughout the lifetime of the equipment. Onboard maintenance and software updates will be provided, along with a dedicated repair service in the case of the unexpected problems. Repairs carried out will include the supply and fitting of the original equipment manufacturers parts.

In addition, GalleyCare will provide training for crew to provide technical and culinary knowledge, with the option of either face-to-face or remote meetings.

“Not only does Welbilt have the right hands on-deck to provide physical support for your machines, the GalleyCare plan also provides extra training for your staff on the correct way to use and maintain your equipment,” said Nicolas Lesbats, global marine aftersales manager at Welbilt. “Through the continual monitoring of your equipment and providing the latest equipment software updates, we will be able to keep costs low and performance high.”
