Viva Cruises started its 2023 river cruising season on 19 January, with both Viva One and Viva Moments departing from Düsseldorf, Germany.

Viva One will be sailing four-night wellness itineraries from January to March, highlights of which will include massages for passengers and excursions focused on improving their well-being. Guests can choose between the ‘Rheingau Wellness trip’ which visits Boppard, Rüdesheim, Bonn and Cologne, or the ‘Rhine-Hesse wellness trip’ with stops in Koblenz, Frankfurt and Speyer.

Meanwhile, Viva Moments will take guests to cities in the Netherlands or Belgium from January to March. Guests on the Netherlands itinerary will be able to participate in a cheese tasting experience and other excursions, while highlights of Belgium itinerary will include beer tasting.

“For the second year in a row, the occupancy rates of our voyages for the first three months of 2023 are very good and we are more than satisfied with the current demand,” said Andrea Kruse, chief operating officer of Viva Cruises. “We have a number of guests who discovered travelling on the river at the beginning of the year and who want to start 2023 in the best way – with a little time out.”
