Uniworld Boutique River Cruises will sail eight new itineraries across Europe and Asia in 2028 following the introduction of three new ‘super ships’.
S.S. Helen, which is named after Helen of Troy, S.S. Clara, which is named after Flemish Golden Age painter Clara Peeters, and Mekong Mystique will join the fleet in 2028, taking the line’s fleet to 22 ships.
The new itineraries will allow guests to discover “lesser-explored destinations” along the Danube and Rhine rivers, as well as offering extended journeys spanning multiple rivers and countries. S.S. Helen and S.S. Clara will sail the 30-day ‘Amsterdam to the Black Sea’ itinerary, the 25-day ‘Eastern Europe Exploration’, the 18-day ‘Danube East & West’ and the nine-day ‘Empires of the Lower Danube’ itineraries.

S.S. Clara will also sail the eight-day ‘Dutch & Flemish Treasures’ through the Netherlands and Belgium, and the eight-day Christmas market ‘Moselle Holiday Markets’ voyage from Düsseldorf to Trier in Germany.
Mekong Mystique will sail itineraries on the Mekong, which is the third-longest in Asia and the twelfth-longest river in the world.
Existing Uniworld ships S.S. Catherine and S.S. Joie de Vivre will sail the new 15-day ‘Grand France Holiday’, which combines the Rhône and Seine. S.S. Catherine will also sail the festive eight-day ‘Rhône Winter Holiday’ from Arles to Lyon in France.
“2028 is shaping up to be an incredibly exciting year for Uniworld,” said Ellen Bettridge, president and CEO of Uniworld Boutique River Cruises. “We’re giving our guests the opportunity to see more, travel farther and experience some of our favourite destinations in entirely new ways. That could mean journeying from Amsterdam all the way to the Black Sea, experiencing the traditions and flavours of France during the holiday season, or exploring the Mekong aboard our newest ship.”
