Scenic is to build a second expedition cruise yacht, which will be named Scenic Eclipse II and debut in 2020.

Like her sister ship Scenic Eclipse, which will set sail in 2018, the 228-passenger ice-class Scenic Eclipse II will be constructed by Uljanik at its yard in Pula, Croatia from 2019.

Scenic Eclipse II will feature 114 veranda suites, eight lounges and bars, nine restaurants, a spa, fitness suite, and indoor and outdoor plunge pools. Other features will include a marina deck, as well as helicopters and a submarine.

The discovery yacht will embark on her maiden voyage from Athens, Greece, to Lisbon, Portugal in 2020, before travelling to the European and Russian Arctic. Itineraries will take guests to Russia’s White Sea, the Northwest Passage, southern Greenland, the Bering Sea (calling at ports in both Alaska and Russia), Canada, the US, Central and South America, and more.
