The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection has taken delivery of its third ultra-luxury superyacht from French shipbuilder Chantiers de l’Atlantique at a handover ceremony in Saint-Nazaire, France.
The ceremony was attended by Ernesto Fara, president of The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, and Laurent Castaing, general manager of Chantiers de l’Atlantique. Also present was Captain Magnus Bengtsson, who will be at the helm during the ship’s maiden season, which begins with a seven-day voyage from Monte Carlo, Monaco, to Rome, Italy, on 3 July 2025. The ceremony included the traditional changing of flags, as well as a celebratory toast on the yacht’s open-air deck.
“The arrival of Luminara marks a significant moment for The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection as we continue to shape the future of ultra-luxury travel at sea,” said Fara. “With striking architecture and thoughtfully designed interiors, Luminara represents the passion and shared commitment to excellence that define both our brand and our close working relationship with Chantiers de l’Atlantique.”
