London-based interior design company M Studio specialises in delivering high-quality interiors to clients in the marine and hospitality sectors around the world.

“We design for each client’s individual needs, focusing on the details and making each project truly unique, just for them,” says Alan McVitty, founder and CEO. “While comfort and practicality are always key priorities; our emphasis is always on elegant simplicity and classic timeless designs with a modern twist.”

M Studio has a team of multi-talented designers, each with varying strengths in the marine and hospitality design. During his career, McVitty has worked on a wide array of projects from the Burj Al Arab Jumeirah in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, to Cunard’s Queen Mary 2. “Through the knowledge I have acquired, I have been able to provide M Studio’s clients with an individual approach to each project,” says McVitty. “The company’s creative director, Rani Ahluwalia, also brings her flair and style to each project making each one most prestigious. M Studio is passionate, commercially astute and committed to producing striking interiors in response to their locations and history.”

The company approaches every project with a fresh outlook – even when client briefs are similar, it works to find a new solution.

“To be creative, we endeavour to evolve the design with a client, making it unique for them,” says McVitty. “As a design practice, we work on a diverse range of projects and therefore have a variety of suppliers that we can call on, so we know our projects will stand out. We focus on quality of materials, atmosphere, energy efficiency, sustainability, comfort and durability. We believe it is important to create interiors with personality.”
