Neptune Co, a joint venture between Cruise Saudi and resort operator Aman Group, is collaborating with shipbuilder T. Mariotti to construct a new luxury yacht.

Currently named Project Sama, the yacht will be the first commercial vessel for the Aman Luxury Brand, marking the first time Aman Group has brought its brand of luxury resorts to the sea.

The yacht will be 183 meters long and contain 50 suites, as well as public spaces and entertainment facilities.

“It’s a privilege to have the opportunity to work with Aman, the pinnacle player in high-end hospitality,” said Marco Ghiglione, managing director of T. Mariotti. “We are proud to offer our luxury shipbuilding experience to this challenging new venture offering a unique combination of luxury, safety and versatility which will innovate the art of travelling at sea.”

Both the interior and exterior of the ship are being designed by yacht designers SINOT, while De Wave will be responsible for interior finishing and Ortec Santamaria will work on the electrical systems.

Project Sama is currently expected to launch in 2026.
