Swan Hellenic has revealed the designs for cabins onboard its new expedition cruise ship SH Minerva, which is currently under construction at Helsinki Shipyard in Finland.

The 76 cabins and suites onboard SH Minerva have been designed by Tillberg Design of Sweden, featuring natural materials and spacious open views out to sea. The majority of cabins will also feature balcony areas.

The structure of the 113-metre-long ship has been completed ahead of schedule by Helsinki Shipyard. She is now being fitted with a five-megawatt diesel-electric propulsion system with selective catalytic reduction and is ready to receive a three-megawatt battery package and Polar Code 5-rated hull.

“We are very proud of the smooth progress made on SH Minerva, helped by its outstanding design,” said Esko Karvonen, CEO of Helsinki Shipyard. “It is an inspiring journey to work on the remarkable first three vessels for the iconic Swan Hellenic and we are sure the guests who explore the world aboard them will also feel that.”
