Taking place in Halifax, Canada from 29 November to 1 December, the Sustainable Ocean Summit (SOS) will be themed ‘The Ocean Sustainable Development Goal: Business Leadership and Business Opportunities’.

Over three days, SOS attendees will explore a range of cross-sector topics during plenaries, workshops, and several parallel sessions. Discussions will centre on marine pollution, ocean industry projections and the future of the ocean economy, climate change and ocean acidification, sustainable fishing and aquaculture. The working format will help identify clear, realistic pathways to successfully achieving shared objectives for sustainable ocean use.

SOS has become the premier forum for advancing industry leadership ocean sustainable development, science and stewardship. Each year the event gathers together the members of the international ocean business community.

Registration is now open with early bird rates available until 1 October 2017.
