Ocean Victory, the third vessel in SunStone Ships’ Infinity series, has been launched in a ceremony at the China Merchant Heavy Industry (CMHI) shipyard in Haimen, China.

The 104-metre-long ship can accommodate up to 200 passengers in 93 suites. Several changes have been made from the design of the first ship in the series, Greg Mortimer, including the installation of an infinity pool and the replacement of the bridge wings with two observation platforms.

The Infinity series features Ulstein’s X-bow hull design, which reduces fuel consumption while providing a smoother voyage. Ulstein Design & Solutions is providing a design and equipment package for the project.

Ocean Victory has been chartered out to Albatros Travel for Antarctica journeys in the winter season and to American Queen Steamboat for Alaska cruises in the summer.
