Ship2Shore Employ has partnered with its inaugural client, Starboard Cruise Services, to provide virtual and shoreside employment opportunities in the cruise industry for former cruise ship crew members.

Building on 80 years of combined experience in the cruise and staffing industry, Ship2Shore aims to provide support for recruitment and professional development services to assist individuals with transitions to land-based careers.

“Starboard, our inaugural client, sets an inspiring example as a leading light in the industry, showcasing their progressive and compassionate approach to hiring new talent,” said Barbara Cobas, founder and CEO of Ship2Shore Employ. “Lisa Bauer and her team are paving the way for diverse and innovative hiring practices within our industry and highlight the invaluable experience and knowledge of former crew.”

The partnership will connect Starboard, an LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton company, with cruise industry professionals who “believe in the immense talent that lies within former crew members,” according to Lisa Bauer, president and CEO of Starboard. “Our partnership with Ship2Shore Employ aligns perfectly with our purpose – to curate a vibrant world for guests, cruise line partners, brand collaborators and employees, and we are excited about the positive impact it will have on our company and industry. We can’t wait to welcome them to our global team.”
