Silversea Cruises is to offer new public venues, expanded bars and restaurants and other reimagined spaces onboard Silver Nova, which is set to debut in August 2023.

The ship will have new spaces including the Shelter, an evening-only bar that will seat just 32 guests for aperitifs and cocktails, and the Venetian Lounge, a two-storey entertainment lounge which will offer theatrical performances, film screenings and lectures.

Guests will also be able to relax in the Observation Lounge and Panorama Lounge as well as the Connoisseurs Corner, which will offer premium cigars and liquors.

The ship will feature eight of Silversea’s signature restaurants including La Terrazza, Atlantide, S.A.L.T. Kitchen, La Dame, Silver Note, Kaiseki, Spaccanapoli, and the Grill. Several of the restaurants have been enhanced and relocated on Silver Nova, such as S.A.L.T. Kitchen, which will have a new outdoor area. The S.A.L.T. Lab, adjacent to the restaurant of the same name, will also be expanded for Silver Nova and allow guests to learn about local food and drink as they travel through different regions.

Other onboard public spaces will include the Arts Café, a casino, a two-storey boutique, two outdoor bars, and the Otium Spa, which will have an indoor pool, spa, eight treatment rooms and a salon.

Silver Nova will be able to host 728 guests and will be the first Silversea ship to feature an asymmetrical design with a horizontal layout to heighten the sense of spaciousness for guests and provide a natural flow between venues.

“In addition to her pioneering sustainability credentials, Silver Nova will unlock a new luxury experience for our guests, offering a variety of bars, lounges, and restaurants with an entirely new design approach for Silversea,” said Barbara Muckermann, president and CEO of Silversea Cruises. “She will enrich the social aspect of cruising to unprecedented levels, fostering the strong sense of community that is core to life onboard each Silversea ship.”
