Silver Muse is to offer the highest number of restaurants than any other vessel in her category and more large suites than any Silversea Cruises ship when she debuts in spring 2017.

Currently under construction at Fincantieri’s Sestri Ponente yard in Genoa, Italy, Silversea’s new all-suite flagship will measure 212m in length and will be able to accommodate 596 passengers.

The 40,700gt ship will offer eight restaurants, including an exclusive Relais & Châteaux dining venue. Debuting onboard Silver Muse is Atlantide, a new European-style dining venue that will serve seafood, fish and steak dishes, and La Terrazza, a Slow Food-inspired à-la-carte restaurant offering authentic Italian dishes and interactive food stations.

Guests can also dine at the poolside, open-air Regina Margherita pizzeria, which has been named in tribute to the beloved 19th century Italian queen consort for whom the margherita pizza was invented. Other announced venues include Hot Rocks, an outdoor interactive dining venue that allows guests to build their own burgers during the day and grill their own seafood and meat using at-table heated volcanic ‘hot rock’ plates in the evening.

Silver Muse will also offer 34 Silver Suites across her three top decks and new two-bedroom Silver Suite configurations, as well as 36 sqm Classic Veranda Suites, a 129 sqm two-bedroom Owner’s Suite, and Grand and Royal suites. All suites will offer contemporary furniture and will be decorated in ‘warm earth tones’ of cream, saffron, green and sienna.

“We’re thrilled to announce more detailed features of our new flagship,” said Lisa McAuley, commercial director UK and Ireland at Silversea. “We are sure that many discerning travellers will love it, and will be eager to learn more about this highly anticipated new addition to our ocean fleet.”

Silversea has developed a dedicated website to enable guests to take a 360-degree virtual tour of the ship and stay updated with the latest developments. Further information, such as details on itineraries, public spaces, deck plans and more, will be added in the coming weeks.

“Our beautiful new site utilises the latest technology to bring to life the state-of-the-art design and luxe, modern amenities of Silver Muse,” said McAuley.
