The 23rd edition of the Shippax Ferry Conference will take place from 5-7 May 2026 onboard Grandi Navi Veloci’s ferry Rhapsody.
The two-day event will bring together 450-500 ferry professionals for keynotes, panel discussions and networking opportunities, all while delegates sail between Genoa on Italy’s northwestern coast and Olbia on the Italian island of Sardinia, and back. The ticket price includes all meals, drinks and networking drinks and snacks, as well as two nights in a cabin onboard.
First held in 2003, Shippax has grown each year and now attracts delegates from more than 240 companies and over 50 ferry operators from all over the world. Confirmed speakers include Shippax’s Frederik Erdmann and Alan Lam, and Bruce Peter, professor of design history at the Glasgow School of Art, who has a life-long interest in merchant ship design and passenger shipping operation. More speakers will be confirmed ahead of the event.
