Port Victoria in the Seychelles hosted a maiden call from TUI Cruises’ Mein Schiff 4 on 2 November 2025.

The ship arrived in port with 2,385 passengers and 956 crew members, who were welcomed by a traditional music band, dancers, tour operators and representatives from the Seychelles Ports Authority, the tourism department and destination management company.

“Port Victoria proudly welcomed the maiden call of Mein Schiff 4, marking another exciting milestone in Seychelles’ thriving cruise industry,” said Lynze Marimba, director of business and strategy at the port authority in a LinkedIn post, adding that the Seychelles is committed to “strengthening its position as a premier cruise destination in the Indian Ocean.”
 
He added: “Here’s to more maiden calls, more smiles, and a flourishing cruise season ahead.”
