Seatrade Cruise Med is set to take place at Las Palmas Cruise Port in Las Palmas, Spain, on 16-17 September 2026.

The biennial event brings together cruise professionals from the Mediterranean and adjoining seas to share ideas, create partnerships and discuss the future of the cruise industry. Over 2000 attendees are expected at the event, including more than 220 cruise line personnel, and over 180 exhibitors are expected to showcase their destinations and products on the show floor.

'For the Port Authority of Las Palmas to be the next host of Seatrade Cruise Med is a unique opportunity to showcase our potential – our port, our city, and our island – to  cruise lines, operators, and service providers,” said Beatriz Calzada, president of the Port Authority of Las Palmas. “It will also contribute to adding even more value to our economy through the growth of the destination, job and wealth generation, and the consolidation of our position as a homeport.”

The Mediterranean is the world’s second most-popular cruise region, with ports recording approximately 15,800 calls last year. Las Palmas recorded 1,207,084 cruise passengers and 464 port calls from January to August 2025, a 22.5 per cent increase in passengers and a 30.3 per cent increase in calls compared to the previous year.

'We are delighted to work with Ports of Spain again to build on the success of the same event held in Malaga in 2024,” said Chiara Giorgi, global brand and event director for Seatrade Cruise. “My team is already planning a great show experience for exhibitors and delegates alike in the Canary Islands next autumn.”
