Seatrade Cruise Global is to debut the Wellness Oasis, a new space focused on wellness trends and innovation in the cruise sector, at its 2026 edition, which will take place from 13 to 16 April at the Miami Beach Convention Center.

Designed as a dedicated area on the exhibition floor, the Wellness Oasis will present programming and experiences centred on the role of wellness in the cruise guest journey. The concept has been developed in collaboration with experience design consultancy Spark Cooperative.

“Cruise is evolving quickly to meet the expectations of today’s traveller and wellness is at the centre of that shift,” said Chiara Giorgi, brand director of Seatrade Cruise Global. “The Wellness Oasis is designed as both a destination and a discovery platform: a place to recharge during a high-energy week, and a place to experience the new ideas shaping the future of the cruise guest experience.”

The space will be structured as a three-day programme aligned with the event schedule. The first day will focus on mindfulness and mental clarity, the second on physical wellbeing through fitness, recovery and nutrition, and the third on wellbeing practices centred on connection and cultural rituals.

Six themed areas will highlight different aspects of wellness within the cruise environment: The Reset Pod, focusing on mindfulness and mental clarity; The Mat, dedicated to fitness and functional vitality; The Lab, exploring recovery and optimisation; The Sip Bar, featuring functional beverages and nutrition concepts; Future of Beauty, showcasing treatments and technology; and Culture Corner, presenting global wellness rituals. Activities will run throughout the conference, including mindfulness sessions, mobility exercises, demonstrations focused on recovery, tastings and cultural wellness experiences.

“We wanted The Wellness Oasis to feel like a genuine reset for people moving through the convention, while also opening the door to bigger ideas about wellness in cruise,” said Travis Brendle, creative director at Spark Cooperative. “It is a space where attendees can step out of the noise, experience wellness firsthand, and start imagining how these ideas could live onboard. This is just the beginning of what a more connected wellness ecosystem for our industry could look like.”

Giorgi concludes: “Wellness is going far beyond spa. With the Wellness Oasis, we’re creating an open platform for cruise lines and partners to share ideas, showcase innovation and help define the future of wellness at sea.”
