Seabourn’s luxury cruise ships will return to Oceania in December 2019, visiting new ports around Australia and New Zealand.

From December to April 2020, the two vessels will call at several harbours that are inaccessible to larger cruise ships, as well as more familiar destinations.

Seabourn Encore will make maiden calls in Hobart, Portland and Kangaroo Island as part of an itinerary to ports across the east and west of Australia. A selection of departures will offer guests the chance to explore locations across New Zealand, including Milford Sound, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Other New Zealand destinations include Timaru, Lyttleton and Wellington.

Seabourn Sojourn will include six Australian ports as part of her world cruise, making inaugural calls at Airlie Beach and Brisbane before closing the cruise season as the last international ship scheduled to depart Sydney in April 2020.

“We are thrilled to offer our guests so many choices in ultra-luxury cruising in Australia and New Zealand this year,” said Chris Austin, senior vice president of global marketing and sales for Seabourn. “This fascinating, beautiful part of the world provides our guests with a wide array of extraordinary destinations and experiences in a way that only Seabourn can deliver.”

Seabourn will also bring a wellness cruise to Australia and New Zealand for the first time in February 2020. Inspired by the current interest in mindfulness and healthy living, physician and author Dr Andrew Weil will accompany guests, along with a team of wellness experts. The cruise will sail from Auckland, New Zealand to Sydney with an onboard itinerary that includes lectures and discussions which aim to help guests to improve their mental and physical health.
