Seabourn has completed the line’s “most comprehensive interior update” to date onboard Seabourn Quest. The 458-guest ship now has updated suites, public spaces and dining venues designed to offer guests a more relaxed and refined onboard experience.
All suites onboard have been upgraded with new mattresses and wool carpets, with Penthouse and premium suites also receiving updated veranda furniture. Additionally, public spaces have been refurbished to enhance passenger flow, enabling guests to move more naturally through the ship. The atrium, corridors and stairways received new carpeting, all of which feature patterns inspired by the organic movement of water.

One of the most significant changes onboard was to The Club, which now features an updated bar design and new lighting, as well as a reconfigured layout to enable guests to move more naturally between the bar, lounge seating and dance floor.
Seabourn Square – the cruise line’s open-plan ‘living room’ reception area – has new furniture and bistro-style seating, while the Observation Bar was upgraded with fresh carpet and furnishings to create a brighter, more relaxed setting.
Indoor/outdoor dining venue, The Colonnade, has new flooring, carpeting and seating, as well as an updated service line to showcase live cooking. The ship’s restaurant also has new carpet and drapery.

Elsewhere, the main pool deck has been upgraded with an improved sound system and lighting, as well as renewed teak deck. The Spa has a redesigned reception area, enhanced gym equipment and an updated salon with new finishes, lighting and furnishing. The ship’s shops have also been renovated with new finishes, lighting and display elements to align with recent upgrades across the Seabourn ocean fleet.

“Our goal was to create spaces that feel natural, intuitive and effortlessly comfortable for guests,” said Linh Nguyen, senior manager of interior design and assets management at Seabourn. “Rather than referencing a single destination, the design takes a broader approach, using materiality and scale to shape spaces that feel balanced, familiar and easy to experience.”
The refurbishment project also included updates to crew areas, amenities and accommodations to support the onboard team.
“This drydock represents an investment that reflects our unwavering focus on elevating every aspect of the guest experience,” said Mark Tamis, president of Seabourn. “Seabourn Quest has always had a loyal following, and we wanted to enhance the spaces where our guests spend their time onboard, from the feel of their suite to the atmosphere of The Club in the evening, to ensure they have the best experience at sea when they sail on this beautiful ship.”
