Seabourn’s new Seabourn Pursuit is set to launch with an array of luxurious oceanfront suites created by hospitality studio, Tihany Design, in summer 2023.

Seabourn Pursuit’s 132 oceanfront veranda suites will be available in multiple layouts and dimensions to offer guests “incomparable comfort, relaxed elegance and sophisticated ruggedness”. The custom design project was led by Tihany Design founder, Adam D. Tihany, and managing partner, Alessia Genova.

“Tihany Design’s latest undertaking for Seabourn is among its most thoughtfully conceived and executed, creating an ultra-luxury atmosphere that pairs well with the expedition feel guests experience throughout Seabourn Pursuit,” said Natalya Leahy, president of Seabourn. “Guests will certainly recognise their Seabourn ‘home away from home’ while being surrounded by elements that bring a spirit of adventure and discovery as they visit some of the most beautiful and remote locations of the world.”

Each suite will include a living area, marble bathroom with bathtub and separate shower, additional spa amenities, a built-in heated jacket wardrobe, and more. Guests will also benefit from a fully stocked bar and refrigerator, an all-season duvet and cotton linens, and plush robes and slippers. Swarovski Optik binoculars are also available so guests can make the most of the views from their verandas.

All suites will also feature furniture from the exclusive custom collection developed by Tihany Design and produced by Italian furniture manufacturer Roda. Handcrafted in wood and metal and incorporating textured fabric and leather, the collection was, given “a distinctive identity specifically for the expedition cruise market”, according to those involved in the project.

Seabourn Pursuit is scheduled to begin sailing several Amazon River cruises in October 2023, before joining its sister ship, Seabourn Venture, in Antarctica, from November 2023.
