Scenic Tours is to launch five new itineraries on the Mekong River through Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand and Laos, as well as a new all-balcony suite ship, Scenic Spirit.

Scenic Spirit, which is 85 metres in length, fuses traditional Asian influences with modern features including a resort-style pool, steam sauna, bar and open-air cinema.

The vessel will offer three types of cabin – Deluxe Suites, Grand Deluxe Suites and Royal Panorama Suites – which each have a private balcony and separate bedroom. The upgraded suites, like the Royal Panorama, will offer guests a personal Jacuzzi and an expanded balcony.

To complement the custom-built ship, Scenic Tours will also offer guests an almost 1:1 staff-to-guest ratio and all-inclusive drinks, dining, flights, experiences, private butler service, internal transfers, tips and gratuities.

“By taking our award-winning, ultra-all-inclusive river cruise experience to the waters of the Mekong, we’re able to offer guests a unique holiday that combines financial peace of mind with the unrivalled luxury of our brand new Scenic Spirit ship,” said Chris Townson, managing director of Scenic Tours UK. “We believe there’s now no better way to sail these waters; we’ve got the newest ship with the best features and the most spacious cabins; our diverse itineraries are meticulously planned and cover a wealth of must-see and lesser-travelled treasures, plus everything is included in the price of your cruise.”

Combining Scenic Tours’ river cruises and tour holidays, the five new itineraries range from 15 to 29 days in length.
