São Paulo seeks to improve Sistema de Travessias Litorâneas ferry system

The Government of São Paulo has opened an international bidding process for a company to operate, maintain, improve and expand its Sistema de Travessias Litorâneas ferry system, which provides a total of eight daily crossings in three regions of the Paulista coast.

The São Paulo State Public Transportation Services Regulatory Agency (ARTESP) has published the public ‘Notice of Bidding’ for the concession agreement.

Included in the bidding documents is the request for proposal, concession agreement and annexes, which are available on the ARTESP website and can be found in English here.

Requests for clarification must be sent to novoconcessoes@artesp.sp.gov.br by 5:30pm local time on 9 March 2022.

The public session for the delivery of envelopes will take place on 30 March 2022 at B3 headquarters in São Paulo, Brazil.
