Outdoor heating technologies provider Bromic Heating has installed more than 100 Platinum Smart-Heat Electric Marine heaters onboard Royal Caribbean International’s Wonder of the Seas.

Bromic, which is the only company in the world to offer outdoor heating solutions certified by Lloyd’s Register, uses high-quality AISI316 stainless steel to manufacture the Platinum Smart-Heat Electric Marine heaters. They have been specifically engineered to offer “superior resistance” to the corrosive elements of coastal and marine environments.

The heaters have been fitted in the restaurants, bars, pool decks and balconies onboard Wonder of the Seas to improve the guest experience by ensuring they stay warm while outside. The 362-metre-long ship, which spans 18 decks and accommodates 6,988 guests and 2,300 crew members, is the world’s biggest and most expensive cruise ship built to date.

“Bromic is the global leader in outdoor heating technologies and the world’s first Lloyd’s Register-approved heating solution suitable for installation on open decks of cruise ships and yachts,” said Daniel Bruntsch, global head of marine at Bromic. “Our award-winning innovations are used by leading cruise ship and superyacht naval architects, designers, major cruise lines and ship/superyacht builders all around the world.

“Anyone who wants to learn how they can add warmth and comfort to the open decks of their vessels in an energy-efficient and sustainable way, without compromising on design, can meet with our experts at stand 244 in Hall B6 at SMM Hamburg, which is taking place from 6-9 September in Hamburg, Germany.”
