Rob Mortimer, founder and CEO of Fuelre4m, will speak at the Propulsion and Future Fuel conference in Hamburg, Germany. He will join the “Next Generation LNG: Bio-LNG and ENG” session on Tuesday 25 November.

Mortimer is behind Fuelre4m technologies like Styrex, which turns polystyrene waste into a fuel source, bringing it into the circular economy by recycling it into high density energy, and Re4mx, which has been designed to cut emissions by up to 80 per cent, and improve fuel efficiency by 15-20 per cent.

“At Fuelre4m, we are not just tweaking old systems; we are evolving fossil fuels to meet the needs of a rapidly changing world,” said Mortimer. “We are asking the tough questions, solving the unsolved problems, using technology and AI to drive digitalisation, and showing that fossil fuels can be part of a cleaner, more efficient energy future.”

The three-day event, which takes place from 25-27 November 2025, will feature conference sessions covering a range of topics, including the next steps for carbon capture and the net-zero by 2050 targets set by the International Maritime Organization (IMO).
