The Globally We Design (GloWD) ReDesignEd Educators Forum will bring together a select and diverse group of global delegates to collaborate and discuss ways to advance design on 27-29 April 2023 at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México’s Central University City Campus in Mexico City.

The 2023 event is the first in-person gathering since Covid-19 and will explore the implications of the pandemic and how societal behaviours, processes and expectations have shifted as a result of this.

ReDesignEd will host a series of rotating working sessions so that attendees can help to collectively answer the following questions:

  • How has the world changed in the last three years and what do we know now that we didn’t before?

  • How do we expand design thinking for improved impact?

  • Is digital and artificial intelligence technology truly transformative, or are we overestimating its impact?

  • Are future designers discipline-specific or generalists? Are they creators or curators?

  • How do we connect learning to community?
