Port of Kristiansund

Kristiansund, located between Ålesund and Trondheim, is a charming and colourful town spread across four islands floating in the Atlantic Ocean. At its heart lies a picturesque harbour, where cruise ships of up to 300 metres can dock right in the town centre,with attractions, activities and shopping just steps away. Famous or its clipfish (bacalao), Kristiansund is home to the Norwegian Clipfish Museum, and hosts an annual opera festival. Kristiansund is the closest port to the stunning Atlantic Ocean Road, making it an ideal gateway to explore this world-renowned stretch of road.
