Port Everglades in Florida serve as the homeport for five ships from four cruise brands in summer 2024, an increase from the three ships from three lines it will host in the same period this year.

According to the port, Calls from Celebrity Cruises’ Celebrity Beyond and Celebrity Reflection, Princess Cruises’ Enchanted Princess, Royal Caribbean International’s Freedom of the Seas and Disney Cruise Line’s Disney Magic in 2024 will strengthen its position within the top three busiest cruise homeports in the world.

“We have been extremely successful in meeting the cruising public’s expectations by attracting ultra-high-luxury and premier brands, further developing our summer offerings, and expanding popular short cruise options,” said Jonathan Daniels, CEO and port director. “These new additions to our summer 2024 portfolio are a direct result of us putting the customer experience first.”

Port Everglades is currently the homeport for Celebrity Cruises’ Celebrity Equinox, Princess Cruises’ Caribbean Princess and Royal Caribbean International’s Adventure of the Seas. The port also offers travellers a near-daily ferry service by Baleária Caribbean to The Bahamas.

In autumn 2023, the port will also open a new Disney-themed Terminal 4, which will become the base for Disney Magic. A second seasonal ship will also sail from there in 2025.
