P&O Cruises is to launch the first at-sea Pandora jewellery stores on five of its Australia-based ships this year.

Passengers will be able to purchase Pandora’s jewellery, which is sold in more than 90 countries worldwide and is particularly popular in Australia, at duty-free prices.

The first store will open on Pacific Jewel in June, while four more outlets will be added to Pacific Dawn, Pacific Pearl, Pacific Aria and Pacific Eden over the coming months.

“Pandora is a brand that’s known and loved around the world and we think it will be a huge hit with our guests who’ll love the chance to buy the jewellery as a gift or a keepsake during their holiday,” said Sture Myrmell, P&O Cruises’ senior vice president. “Our ships will be the only locations outside airports to sell Pandora at duty-free prices, so this is quite a coup for us.”
