P&O Cruises Australia will carry a record number of families in 2021, with over 200,000 people set to travel as part of a family group across its fleet.

The cruise line’s accommodation for families will be significantly increased with the debut of new cruise ship Pacific Adventure. The vessel will have capacity for 3,000 passengers, offering a greater range of cabins for families. This will include new five-berth family cabins and a two-bedroom family suite that sleeps up to eight guests, along with a record number of interconnecting rooms.

P&O will also be offering a greater selection of itineraries from during the school holidays. These will include sailings to the Australian Open and Australia Day celebrations in Sydney Harbour, as well as several longer sailings to the South Pacific and Queensland Islands.

“P&O Cruises will carry more families and family groups than ever before and more than any other cruise line in this market in 2021,” said Sture Myrmell, president of P&O Cruises Australia. “It makes it even easier for Aussie families to take a cruise holiday together because there is so much choice once you are onboard.”
