Orient Express Sailing Yachts’ ship, Orient Express Corinthian, will sail its maiden season in the Caribbean from October 2026 to March 2027. 

The ship, which is currently under construction in France at Chantiers de l’Atlantique’s shipyard, will depart from Lisbon, Portugal, on 12 October 2026 on a 14-night transatlantic voyage to Barbados to begin its autumn/winter season in the Caribbean. Orient Express Corinthian will offer two nine-night itineraries calling at destinations including Saint-Barthélemy, Moskito Island in the British Virgin Islands, the Exuma Islands and the Tobago Cays in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

Orient Express Corinthian features 4,500 square metres of sails mounted on three inclinable masts

The 220-metre-long ship, which is set to be the world’s largest sailing yacht when it debuts in June 2026, will have 54 suites, each with picture windows or a terrace. It will also feature five restaurants and private dining spaces, and 4,500 square metres of sails mounted on three inclinable masts, which will enable the ship to reach a speed of 17 knots solely using the wind.
