Oceania Cruises will introduce an adults-only policy across its fleet for new bookings made from 7 January 2026 onwards.

Under the revised policy, the cruise line will accept guests aged 18 and over for all new reservations on future voyages.  Existing bookings made before 7 January 2026 that include guests under the age of 18 will be honoured.

Oceania Cruises conducted research involving repeat guests, travel partners and new-to-brand customers. According to the company, feedback highlighted the importance of a calm onboard atmosphere, service style and pace of travel among its customer base.

“Our guests have consistently shared that the tranquil environment aboard our ships is one of the primary reasons they return time and time again,” said Jason Montague, chief luxury officer of Oceania Cruises. “By transitioning to an adults-only experience, we are enhancing the very essence of the Oceania Cruises journey – one defined by sophistication, serenity and discovery.”

Oceania Cruises operates a fleet of eight small luxury vessels offering global itineraries. The cruise line has four new Sonata Class ships on order, scheduled for delivery in 2027, 2029, 2032 and 2035, and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings.
