Oceania Cruises is to expand its suite accommodation offering for Oceania Sonata, the first vessel in its Sonata Class, which is scheduled to debut in August 2027.

The 86,000-gross-ton ship will carry 1,390 guests and 855 crew, with suites accounting for approximately 33 per cent of total accommodations.

“We have listened closely to the desires of our guests and are delighted to unveil Oceania Sonata’s thoughtfully reimagined suite accommodations,” said Jason Montague, chief luxury officer of Oceania Cruises. “Oceania Sonata is a triumph of spacious design and meticulous craftsmanship to deliver our unwavering commitment to extraordinary experiences and our unique brand of hospitality.”

The suite inventory will include four Owner’s Suites, each exceeding 2,500 square feet. Located on the aft corners of decks 10 and 11, the suites will feature wraparound verandas and two bedrooms, comprising a master bedroom with a king-size bed and en suite bathroom, and a guest bedroom with a queen-size bed, private bathroom and access to the veranda.

Eight Vista Suites, ranging from more than 1,500 to more than 1,900 square feet, will also be located aft and will include expansive verandas, separate living and dining areas and master bathrooms with double vanities, showers and soaking tubs.

The ship will feature 16 Oceania Suites measuring between 1,000 and more than 1,400 square feet. These suites will include separate living, dining and bedroom spaces, private teak verandas and marble-finished bathrooms.

A new accommodation category, the Horizon Suite, will include 50 suites positioned between the Penthouse and Oceania Suite categories. Each Horizon Suite will offer more than 600 square feet of interior space, with separate living and sleeping areas, a walk-through wardrobe and an oversized veranda.

The remaining suites will consist of 63 Penthouse Suites and 82 Penthouse Deluxe Suites, measuring 426 and 488 square feet respectively, each with a private veranda and floor-to-ceiling glass doors.
