Norwegian Bella, the latest Prima class ship from Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL), will spend its maiden season sailing seven-day roundtrip Mediterranean itineraries from Barcelona, Spain, from May 2028.
The ship’s itineraries will include port calls at Civitavecchia, Florence and Salerno, Italy; Marseille, France; and Palma de Mallorca, Spain. Norwegian Bella will accommodate 3,921 guests at double occupancy and is a sister ship to Norwegian Aura, which will sail Caribbean itineraries from June 2027. Both ships are under construction by Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri, with interior designs created by AD Associates, Piero Lissoni, Rockwell Group, SMC Design and Studio Dado.
Accommodation onboard Norwegian Bella ranges from inside staterooms and studios to spacious balcony staterooms, as well as 159 suites within The Haven by Norwegian, NCL’s exclusive, keycard-access ship-within-a-ship experience. The Haven will be located aft and offer private elevators, a sundeck with an infinity pool, two hot tubs, an outdoor sauna and cold room, and separate family-friendly and adults-only areas.

Norwegian Bella features an expanded pool deck – 15 per cent larger than on Norwegian Aqua and Norwegian Luna – with more seating, an infinity hot tub and an LED entertainment screen. The area features two waterslides: The Party Slide, which is wide and shallow, and the figure-eight Infinity Loop slide, while the Kids’ Aqua Park features a reimagined splash pad design and interactive water features.

The ship’s Ocean Boulevard promenade will offer additional seating compared to Norwegian Aqua and Norwegian Luna and will feature hot tubs and an outdoor bar, as well as Infinity Beach, where guests can enjoy stunning infinity pools, upscale daybeds, hot tubs and a full-service outdoor bar.
Norwegian Bella will feature an original design by Australian contemporary artist George Rose to continue NCL’s tradition of partnering with artists to create iconic hull artwork across its fleet.
“Designing the hull art for Norwegian Bella was an opportunity to capture the sense of wonder that travel inspires,” said Rose. “Through vibrant colour, organic forms and a feeling of movement, I wanted to create a piece that reflects the excitement of exploration and discovery.”

“Norwegian Bella marks a milestone moment in our fleet as the culmination of our award-winning Prima class,” said Gary Anslow, vice president for UK, Ireland, Middle East and Africa at NCL. “Drawing on the innovations and guest feedback that have shaped the class from the very beginning, Norwegian Bella brings together our most sought-after experiences in one extraordinary ship. From enhanced outdoor spaces and family-friendly attractions to elevated venues for relaxation and connection, every detail has been thoughtfully designed to give guests the freedom and flexibility to vacation exactly how they want to, without anyone having to compromise. We look forward to welcoming guests to discover the Mediterranean with us aboard Norwegian Bella.”
