The 2019 Cruise & Ferry Itinerary Planning report is out now and available free of charge in digital format. Visit the magazine page to read the magazine online, to download copies to your device or subscribe to the printed copy.

Our new issue is packed with interviews, reports, features and viewpoints from stakeholders involved in designing and executing cruise itineraries around the world. We hear how they are creating cruise routes and onshore experiences that leave a lasting impression.

The magazine opens with an exclusive keynote from Ugo Savino who discusses Carnival Cruise Line’s approach to finding the perfect ports and creating itineraries that excite guests. Meanwhile our cover story explores how history, natural beauty and great infrastructure make England’s Port of Dover an amazing cruise destination.

We also have a roundtable, where we ask senior executives from Costa Cruises, Marella Cruises and V. Ships Leisure to suggest solutions for resolving common itinerary planning challenges. Other features focus on how Carnival Australia and Pullmantur Cruises are exceeding guest expectations, as well as the strategies cruise lines and ports are using to deliver a better shore experience.

Elsewhere, executives from Costa Cruises, Holland America Line, Hurtigruten, Silversea Cruises and Virgin Voyages share exclusive insights on what key factors should be considered when designing itineraries in our ‘Planner Perspective’ section. In addition, cruise associations talk about their latest projects and ports and destinations from around the world highlight what unique activities and shore excursions they can offer to cruise guests.

Another highlight includes our Marketwatch section, which provides a collection of updates from cruise lines and ports, as well as mini interviews with Crystal Cruises' Claudius Docekal and cruise consultant David Selby.

We hope you enjoy the magazine and welcome your feedback.
