Cruise technology provider MXP has introduced MXP365 Digital Guest Journey, which is powered by artificial intelligence (AI) and is designed to improve cruise guests’ onboard experience with personalised recommendations. 

The MXP AI Sales Recommendations Engine is the result of five years of research and development, with the company creating proprietary algorithms tailored to the specific needs of the cruise industry. 

The MXP365 Digital Guest Journey generates personalised recommendations for guests by combining the guest profile, preferences and past purchases with the availability of onboard services and products. The AI tool adjusts recommendations in real time based on guests’ preferences. The recommendations are available across all MXP365 touchpoints, including the MXP365 guest app and web portal.  

The tool has also been designed to provide benefits to cruise lines, including increased revenue (via recommendations for pre-cruise or onboard purchases), and capacity utilisation thanks to the tool’s timed recommendations which aim to fill vacancies for onboard activities.
